Speedle is a free daily racing game. Every day at midnight UTC a new track appears, and everyone races the same one. You get one car, one lap and as many attempts as you like to set the fastest time on the global leaderboard. It runs in your browser on phone, tablet or PC, with nothing to download.

Controls

  1. The car drives itself. You only steer, and turns are relative to the car.
  2. On a keyboard, hold A or ← to turn left and D or → to turn right. R restarts, Esc pauses.
  3. On a phone, hold the left half of the screen to turn left or the right half to turn right.
  4. Hold to drift. Hold a turn for 0.35 seconds at speed to let the rear slide out. Release or steer the other way to catch it; use short taps for small corrections.
  5. Go again instantly. There is no countdown, so you're straight back on the line.
  6. Race your ghost. Your best lap becomes a ghost to chase, and you can race anyone's ghost from the leaderboard.
  7. Earn medals. Beat the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond times on every track.

Questions

Is Speedle free?
Yes. There are no ads and nothing to buy. An account is optional and keeps your records across devices.
Does every car handle the same?
Yes. Cars and trails are cosmetic, so the only advantage is how you drive.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Install Speedle from your browser and it works offline. Your best laps reach the leaderboard the next time you open it online.
Are there tracks besides the daily one?
Yes. Eight permanent circuits each have their own all-time leaderboard.
